White Paper Submission Guidelines

The Sierra Group Foundation’s White Paper Forum is a peer-reviewed electronic publication in the multidisciplinary field of disability and rehabilitation. The Foundation’s responsibly reports the results of rehabilitation research relevant to our organizational mission. Our goal is to publish cutting-edge research and insights that enhance the quality and relevance of rehabilitation research and engineering advances.

Manuscripts accepted are technical reports describing techniques, procedures, or findings of original scientific research.

Review Process

White papers submitted to the Foundation are subject to critical peer review by experts in the field. A paper's suitability for publication rests on the results of the peer review.

Instructions to Contributors

  • Be original and in English.
  • Contain a title, abstract, alphabetized key words, abbreviations, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments, references, and tables and figures and their captions.
  • Include a cover letter stating the name, credentials, affiliation, address, telephone number, fax number, and email address of the corresponding author.
  • List sources of funding on the title page of manuscript, including grant number.
  • Include a signed statement of originality (with all authors' full names and academic degrees).
  • List at least two preferred and any nonpreferred reviewers.
